The Band
Es war vor langer Zeit eine Berner Band, die galt als Vorbild für viele junge Musiker, speziell für Bläsertalente: Dussex’ Soultrain.
Die Band spielte landauf, landab vor begeistertem Publikum, das zu den funky Beats, den kernigen Bläsersätzen, den träfen Licks und dem souligen Gesang ausgelassen tanzte und feierte.
Es folgte ein langer, 15-jähriger Dornröschenschlaf.
Im Sommer 2017 wurde die Truppe wachgeküsst und spielte wieder los, als wäre die Zeit stillgestanden: Soul, die unsterbliche und berührende Musikbewegung wird durch Dussex’ Soultrain mit alten Hasen und jungen Füchsen authentisch wiederbelebt
Unter dem Motto Anniversary Tour ist Dussex’ Soultrain wieder unter Dampf und stampft 2026 durchs Land wie einst im Mai.
An einigen ausgewählten Konzerten ist die Topsängerin Freda Goodlett mit von der Partie, singt einige der Songs und ist für den Background-Gesang verantwortlich
Freda Goodlett
Singer/Songwriter Freda Goodlett was already finding her audience at the tender age of 4 where she like many US artists, sang in church and for local events. Coming from a family of many singers who chose not to pursue music, years later it was apparent that Freda would be the chosen one to take that path.
Freda never had any desire to categorize herself in one direction.With her 5 piece band /Trio/ Duo she prefers Pop-Rock but has been featured with many different acts & styles including Soul, Hard Rock, Funk, Blues, or groovy Dance Tracks. She ventured off early in her life to Europe and has since made her way to stages, studios and hearts of many people from all walks of life. And the journey continues....
